Research Use Terms
Effective October 23, 2026. These terms set the boundary for accounts, orders, recurring reorder plans, and laboratory research materials supplied by Matter Compounds.
Matter Compounds materials are offered strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not for human or veterinary use, food use, cosmetic use, diagnostic procedures, or therapeutic use.
By creating an account or placing an order, you represent that you are at least 21 years old, are qualified and authorized to purchase the materials, and will handle, store, and dispose of them under appropriate laboratory procedures and applicable law.
Information on this site describes laboratory identity, documentation, and research context only. It is not medical advice and does not create a physician-patient, veterinarian-client, or other clinical relationship. Matter Compounds makes no health, diagnostic, or therapeutic claim for any material.
Research-material purchases require a verified-email account, purchaser information describing their role and intended research, a typed electronic signature, and confirmation of the research-use restrictions at checkout. Complete, consistent declarations can proceed without routine manual approval; specific research-use concerns may hold checkout for clarification. Independent researchers and organizations are assessed for legitimate in-vitro laboratory use; university affiliation, company registration, and academic credentials are not mandatory. Supporting information requests are tailored to the research activity and what needs verification. We may request supporting evidence and decline or revoke eligibility when information cannot be verified or indicates prohibited use. A signed declaration alone does not establish eligibility. A changed research purpose or facility must be reflected in an updated declaration.
Checkout does not automatically collect payment at this time. Creating an order saves the selected items and delivery service with an amount due. Send payment using the instructions provided. Uploading supporting payment documentation is optional and can speed up verification; your order can still be processed without an upload. Bitcoin requires a transaction ID. Payment is verified manually before fulfillment. Matter Compounds may later cancel, limit, refund, or request additional verification when identity, purchasing authority, availability, compliance, or fraud concerns arise.
New subscriptions are currently unavailable. Existing recurring-order payments, if any, are collected by Stripe on their previously agreed schedule. Availability, price, lot assignment, and documentation status may change between renewals. We will issue an appropriate refund when a paid order is cancelled, subject to payment-network timing.
New subscriptions are currently unavailable, and current checkout supports one-time orders only. The following terms apply to existing plans. A recurring reorder plan authorizes Stripe to charge the displayed recurring amount every one to twelve months, according to the schedule selected before checkout, until canceled. The schedule, recurring savings, materials, quantities, and renewal terms are shown before enrollment. There is no minimum commitment.
You may manage payment details or cancel through the Reorder Plans area of your account. A cancellation takes effect according to the date shown in the Stripe customer portal. Canceling after a renewal has already been charged does not automatically cancel that order, but you may contact support and the order remains subject to Matter Compounds cancellation and refund rules.
Each renewal remains subject to account eligibility, released lot documentation, lawful research use, and material availability. Matter Compounds may pause or cancel a plan and refund a renewal when those conditions are not met. Recurring orders are not eligible for separate promotion or account-credit codes because recurring savings are already included.
You are responsible for accurate account and shipping information, for protecting your credentials, and for activity under your account. You may not use the site to misrepresent identity or intended use, interfere with site security, resell materials for prohibited uses, or violate applicable law.
The Matter Affiliate Program earns commission of 15% on an attributed customer’s first qualifying order and 10% on repeat qualifying orders. Commission uses merchandise after all discounts, including the $5 eligible manual-payment discount; shipping and taxes are excluded. After the 14-day refund hold, choose a Zelle payout request or convert commission to Matter store credit with a 25% bonus. A payout request is not a completed transfer. Converted store credit is not transferable, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash, and follows the existing single-use account-credit checkout rules.
A referral must involve a new and separately verified qualified-research account. The affiliate offer gives the customer 10% off first and repeat eligible one-time orders; their linked Matter account retains both the benefit and affiliate attribution on future orders. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, paid code listings, misleading product claims, and other program abuse are prohibited. Canceled or refunded orders reduce commissions. Commission already paid or converted to spent credit is recovered from future commission before another payout or credit conversion, in commission-equivalent cents. Previously earned non-affiliate credits retain their existing terms.
Volume pricing is calculated automatically from the eligible vial quantity. Matter Compounds applies the single best eligible volume tier, promotion, referral benefit, subscription price, or account credit. A separate $5 manual-payment discount is added once per eligible one-time order paid by Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, Bitcoin, or enabled ACH bank transfer, up to the remaining merchandise balance. The payment discount does not reduce shipping charges. Preferred pricing, reserved for you. Complimentary case rewards apply. Invited friends and family orders receive no additional volume, coupon, account-credit or payment discounts and do not earn affiliate commissions. Existing orders and previously earned balances are unchanged. Declined, canceled, refunded, disputed, reversed, or fraudulent orders do not qualify. Matter Compounds may review, delay, reverse, or cancel credit and suspend program participation when eligibility or abuse concerns arise.
A certificate applies only to the identified lot and the analyses stated in that document. An In Review record is not a certificate, test result, purity statement, pass decision, or release authorization.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matter Compounds is not responsible for losses caused by use outside the stated research boundary, improper handling or storage, unauthorized resale, or reliance on information beyond the scope of a lot-specific document.
Matter Compounds LLC offers optional recurring automated text messages for customer care, order and delivery notifications, and marketing/promotional offers at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase and is separate from email permission. You must be 21 or older to use our research supply service.
To join, enter your mobile number, actively select the initially unchecked SMS consent checkbox, and submit the form. You can withdraw consent in Account → Communications or reply STOP to any message. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@mattercompounds.com. If you change or give up your number, withdraw permission for that number first.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and this program is not an emergency service. Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share only information necessary with service providers that support message delivery and operation of this program. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
Matter Compounds is operated by Matter Compounds LLC. These terms may be updated as the service changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, will require renewed acceptance. Questions may be sent to support@mattercompounds.com.
